Splash Gang, the team that looked unstoppable in the 6v6 scrimmage, was the biggest disappointment in the entire tournament. The 128-98 blowout loss to the Los Santos Panic, exposed every weakness of Splash Gang, but also highlighted the strength of the Panic.
Splash Gang rightfully deserves the #1 pick in the CBL Draft. They are a undersized team with too many guards and perimeter shooters. The Panic was physical with them, scoring inside at will and pressing their shooters on the defensive end.
Deon Williams, Splash Gang’s best all-around player, was injured late in the 2nd quarter, removing the only inside presence the team had. Before Williams went down, Splash Gang was already down by 19.
