Throughout the series, Darryl Kinsman had financial issues. His vehicle was repossessed, he was forced to sell his home, and he was facing death, because of owed money.
In the end, Kinsman came up with a master plan to settle his debts. Before the Division 1 championship game, he agreed to sell his team’s playbook to New York Nightmare’s Quentin Sands. The playbook was fake and Kinsman was able to lead his team to a Division 1 Championship.
