To Be fair, this game displayed great defense from both teams, but Hamilton sure knows how to force turnovers. The pressure heavy Tiger-Cats loves to pressure quarterbacks by sending extra defenders and it paid dividends in their preseason matchup against the Alouettes.
Hamilton won the turnover battle 3-2 and delivered an ridiculous amount of hits on the quarterback. They stopped every attempt Montreal had to gain momentum including an 4th interception in the end zone to seal the game.
Hamilton’s defense was so aggressive, the Alouettes offense was limited to quick hitting passing plays for most of the 2nd half.
